Suzanne Muchin

Suzanne Muchin is passionate about forging new markets for big ideas. She’s launched five companies — including several with Rachel Bellow.

Suzanne founded ROI Ventures (Return on Inspiration), a brand strategy firm for big ideas in 2006. ROI Ventures was acquired by Abundant Venture Partners in 2012, under whose auspices she and Rachel co-founded ad agency Frequency540. Before founding ROI Ventures, Suzanne was the CEO at Civitas, a marketing and communications company for the early childhood field founded by the former President of Harpo Entertainment.

She began her career as Vice President of National Programs at Teach for America. In 2012, she was inducted into the Chicago Entrepreneur Hall of Fame and is a frequent public speaker and guest lecturer at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Suzanne is a member of the Wexner Heritage Foundation, serves as both a member of the Board of Advisors and Board of Directors of the Chicago Children’s Museum, and is a Limited Partner in the Venture Fund MATH Venture Partners. Suzanne mentors Chicago entrepreneurs at 1871, Impact Engine and TechStars. She is a graduate of Tufts University.
