HPPSC Notification 2023: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released the recruitment notification for various positions in different departments of the Government of Himachal Pradesh. - Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed 10+2 with Medical Science or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board. Additionally, they should possess a diploma in Physiotherapy from Himachal Pradesh University or an institution recognized by the State Government. Alternatively, candidates can hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or its equivalent from Himachal Pradesh University or a duly recognized institution by the State Government. It is mandatory to be registered with HP Paramedical Council.
- Salary: The selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay scale of ₹10,300 – ₹34,800 with a Grade Pay of ₹3,600.
Position: Drug Inspector
- Number of Vacancies: 3
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a post-Graduate Degree in Chemistry with pharmaceutics as an essential subject from a university established in India by the Law. Alternatively, candidates can possess the Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India) obtained by passing the Examination with “Analysis of Drugs and pharmaceuticals” as one of the subjects. Another eligible qualification is a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Graduation in Medicine from a recognized university, with at least one year of postgraduate training.
- Salary: The selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay scale of ₹10,300 – ₹34,800 with a Grade Pay of ₹4,200.
Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules.

HPPSC Notification 2023: Recuitment Process
Selection Process:
- Physiotherapist: The selection process consists of a Screening/Preliminary Examination followed by a Personality Test.
- Drug Inspector: The selection process includes a Screening/Preliminary Examination and a Computer-Based Test/Online Test.

- General/EWS category candidates: ₹400/-
- SC/ST/OBC of Himachal Pradesh and BPL of H.P./EWS (BPL) category candidates: ₹100/-
- Female and Ex-servicemen of H.P. category candidates: No fee
