Kerala State Government signed an agreement with the United Nations women’s participation of in the tourist industry
Responsible Tourism: Kerala inks pact with UN Women to increase the role of women in the tourist industry of the state. The Responsible Tourism Mission will be the implementing agency for the Memorandum Of Understanding ( MOU) signed by Kerala Tourism Director P B Nooh and UN Women India representative Susan Ferguson. Under the agreement, the Responsible Tourism Mission is to be implemented in the state.

The Responsible Tourism Mission is a project that aims to make tourism better for everyone, especially women started after a deal was made between UN Women India and Kerala’s tourism director. The goal is to create tourist spots that are safe and welcoming for women and to change unfair social rules. . The project is supported by Kerala’s Minister of Tourism, showing the government’s commitment to making tourism better for everyone. In a big meeting about this, 280 people are there to talk about it and 70 experts will share their ideas. The mission wants to make sure that everyone can enjoy tourism in a fair and safe way.
