Nandi portal – Govt launches the spaces for Veterinary drugs and vaccines to India
Nandi Portal – Recently Union Minister Parshottam Rupala integrated the Nandi Portal whose objective of granting No Objection Certificates for veterinary drugs and vaccines in India, where he had regarded it as streamlining the regular approval process of veterinary drugs and vaccines
About the Portal
This platform will integrate with the SUGAM portal of the Central Drug Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) and the Drugs Controller General of India, where it provide a manual system of granting permissions for the importing, manufacturing and marketing of veterinary services to concerned authority of India. They will also align with Animal Pandemic Preparedness Initiative (APPI), where they are aiming at providing essential products at crucial times.
How it will work
After you submit the application to the portal the Empowered Committee on Animal Health, will review the application consisting of experts in veterinary science. Once approved NOC will be generated online and provided to the applicant. Note, the applicant will need not to approve the manual paperwork which significantly red reduces the time required for obtaining the necessary certifications.
