T+0 rolling settlement cycle: The stock regulator of India named the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) introduced a new change, where they initiated a new change in the equity segment on an optional basis, named T+0 rolling settlement cycle. Over it, The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued operational guidelines for the newly introduced T+0 rolling settlement cycle for investors and share brokers.

T+0 trading settlement cycle, also known as same-day settlement, where trades in shares are settled on the same day of trading day thus bolstering confidence in traders as now shares will quickly transferred to the buyer’s account while funds are swiftly deposited in the seller’s account. T+0 trading settlement means trades settle on the same day they’re made. When you sell stocks, you get money in your account that day, and buyers get their shares right away. It’s a quick process where funds and securities clear on the same day as the trade, making things faster and more efficient for investors.
